Priyadarshan is one versatile director who has National Award winning films like Kanchivaram and Kalapani to his credit along with out and out comedy capers like Hera Pheri and Garam Masala. The master director is now back with a realistic action thriller titled Aakrosh. Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal and Bipasha Basu play the lead roles in the film. Raima Sen, Amita Pathak, Vineet Sharma and Urvashi Sharma appear in supporting roles in the film.
Priyadarshan, known for his remakes, tells an original and different story in Aakrosh. The film deals with the subject of honour killing in the state of Bihar. It also tells a love story across the barriers of caste.
Aakrosh has been produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak under the banner of Big Screen Entertainer. Kumar Mangat is the producer of critically acclaimed films like Omkara.
Robin Bhatt has written the screenplay whereas Aditya Dhar has penned the dialogues for Aakrosh. Pritam has composed the soundtrack of the movie and the lyricist is Irshad Kamil. Thiru Ranga is the director of photography.
Aakrosh is slated for release on October 1, 2010.

Ajay Devgn is 'The Best' actor in bollywood. There is no second thought in it. I personally met him in Leh where he was shooting for LOC-Kargil. Some of his remarkable performances are in Bhagat Singh, Raincoat, Zakhm, Gangaajal, OUATIM, Apharan, Pyar toh hona hi tha.

an extremely talented and versatile actor.fits into any role with perfection.his dashing screen presence,immaculate dialouge delivery and piercing eyes only reminds of one mr. bachchan.ajay devgan stands miles aparts from his peers....the khans and etc.etc.
