De Dana Dan Preview
De Dana Dan is a comedy directed by Priyadarshan. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Katrina Kaif play the lead roles in the film. Supporting actors include Paresh Rawal, Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia.
De Dana Dan tells the story of two friends Nitin (Akshay Kumar) and Ram (Suniel Shetty), who are lucky in love but unlucky in bank balance. But now their rich girlfriends – Anjali (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) have given them an ultimatum – earn enough money so that we can elope or forget us forever.
Broken and desperate, Nitin and Ram make an audacious plan to make big money and fast. They will kidnap Moolchandji – the spoilt dog of rich bitch Archana (Archana Puran Singh) and ask for ransom. But Moolchandji runs away, and the police think it's Nitin who's been kidnapped.
As Nitin and Ram try for the ransom money they encounter different characters like a Chinese Don, a hired assassin, an ACB officer, a club dancer, an ambassador, a young frustrated wife, a letch, a drunken waiter and a dead body nobody wants…
De Dana Dan brings together director Priyadarshan and the famous comedy trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal after 'Hera Pheri' in 2000.
De Dana Dan is produced by Ganesh Jain and Girish Jain and co-produced by Sunil A. Lulla. Pritam scores the music for the film and Sabu Cyril is the art director. K.Ahambaram is the cinematographer.
De Dana Dan is released by Baba Arts Limited. The film will hit the theaters on November 27, 2009.
