Lamhaa

Lamhaa is a social-action-thriller written and directed by National Film Award winning director Rahul Dholakia. The film features Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu in lead roles. Kunal Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Shernaz Patel and Aman Verma play supporting roles in the film.

Set against the militancy in Kashmir, Lamhaa tells the story of an army man named Vikram (Sanjay Dutt) and his love interest, Aziza (Bipasha Basu). A dangerous plot is being hatched in Kashmir and it is generating millions of unaccountable dollars that has found its way from politicians to the intelligence teams.

Military Intelligence gets a whiff of the plot and Vikram is assigned the task of unearthing the plot. Under the identity of Gul Jehangir he lands in the valley. The same day, Haji, a top separatist leader, survives a blast.

Vikram teams up with Aziza, Haji's young, aggressive and outspoken protégée. They embark together on a journey full of intrigue, suspicion, betrayal and danger to uncover the truth.

Lamhaa is produced by Bunty Walia and Jaspreet Singh Walia. The film has music by Mithoon and lyrics are by Sayeed Qadri.

Lamhaa, distributed by G S Entertainment Pvt. Ltd is scheduled for release on July 16, 2010.
