Pyaar Impossible

Pyaar Impossible is a romantic comedy directed by actor-turned-director Jugal Hansraj. The film features Uday Chopra and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. Dino Morea also plays an important role in the film.

Pyaar Impossible tells the love story between '1 Beauty and 1 Geek'. The story is set in Ankert University, California. Alisha (Priyanka Chopra) is an epitome of beauty for whom all the boys in the campus would willingly rip their hearts out for!

Abhay (Uday Chopra) is a nerdy, awkward, socially challenged, bespectacled geek of the college who is so far removed from Alisha's world. But he too falls for the beauty of Alisha and is in love with her. How can a guy like Abhay ever hope to be in love with a girl like Alisha? Pyaar Impossible tells this love story of impossible proportions.

Pyaar Impossible is said to be inspired by the 1999 British romantic comedy Notting Hill starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. The film marks the return of Uday Chopra to the silver screen after Dhoom 2 in 2006. Uday himself has written the script for the film. Pyaar Impossible is the second directorial attempt of Jugal Hansraj after he made his debut with the animated film Roadside Romeo in 2008.

Pyaar Impossible is produced and distributed under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Salim-Sulaiman has scored the music while Santosh Thundiyil is the Director of Photography. Amitabh Shukla is the editor.

Pyaar Impossible is scheduled for release on January 8, 2010.
