Rocket Singh:Salesman of the Year

Rocket Singh:Salesman of the Year is directed by Shimit Amin of Ab Tak Chappan and Chak De! India fame. Ranbir Kapoor plays the title role in the film whereas debutant Shazahn Padamsee, daughter of advertisement guru Alyque Padamsee plays the female lead. The film also stars VJ and actress Gauhar Khan and singer/theater personality Sharon Prabhakar.

The film is about a salesman named Rocket Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) who is doing great at his work. How he slowly becomes a conman and how he starts operating a parallel company within the same company in which he is working without the knowledge of others forms the story of Rocket Singh.

Rocket Singh is written by Jaideep Sahni. The film is his second outing with director Shimit Amin, the former being the super successful 'Chak De! India'.

Rocket Singh is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Salim-Sulaiman has scored the music and Vikash Nowlakha has handled the camera for the film.

Rocket Singh will hit the theaters on December 11, 2009.
