Sikandar

Sikandar is directed by Piyush Jha and has Parzan Dastur, Ayesha Kapoor and Madhavan in pivotal roles. Parzan started his career as the silent Sikh kid in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and later acted in some bollywood films including the 2007 movie Parzania.

Sikandar Raza, played by Parzan Dastur is a 14 year old school boy in Kashmir, whose parents were killed by militants. He lives with his foster parents and has great interest in football.

One day while returning from school Sikandar gets a gun from the road. Despite his friend Nasreen's admonishments Sikandar picks up the gun and begins a journey into the darker side of his nature.

Sikandar gets into problems because of the gun and people gets killed. At first all the events happening with Sikandar seems unconnected but later it gets revealed that Sikandar is the victim of a game played in between the militants, the army, politicians and the religious heads. All the pieces of the puzzle come together at the very end leading to a shocking revelation.

Ayesha Kapoor, the young girl who made a promising debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black acts as Nasreen.
