What's Your Raashee

What's Your Raashee is a romantic comedy based on astrology directed by the maverick filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar. Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra play the lead roles in the film that is based on the Gujarati novel Kimball Ravenswood by Madhu Rye.

Yogesh Patel (Harman Baweja) is a young man who has always wished for a love marriage. One day he is told that he must find his dream girl within ten days to save his family from utter ruin.

Finding the dream girl in a hurry is not the easiest task in the world. So he makes a plan; he will meet one girl from each raashee – sun sign, so that he will get twelve chances to fall in love. Two meetings per day gives him six days to meet them, three days to make a final decision and he can get married on the tenth day. His journey in pursuit of his dream girl leads to an array of confusion, chaos and a hilarious ride.

Priyanka Chopra plays twelve different characters depicting the twelve zodiac signs. Each character will have a trait related to the zodiac sign.

What's Your Raashee is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala's UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions. Sohail Sen has scored the music while lyrics are by Javed Akhtar. Piyush Shah is the cinematographer.

What's Your Raashee is slated for release on September 25, 2009.
