Currency Trailer

Currency is directed by debutant Swathi Bhaskar with Jayasurya as the protagonist. Currency is told in a grayish tone laced with humour.

Jayasurya plays Keshu, an introvert youth without any aims in life. He had quit his studies at an early stage and makes a living by running a photostat store. His love interest is Rose, played by Meera Nandan.

Keshu often borrows money from Danny D'souza Sayip - a cunning Anglo Indian, played by Mukesh. When Keshu takes a photostat copy of a currency, Danny realizes his caliber of making fake currencies. Soon Keshu becomes an assistant of Dany in his ugly dealings and his life is turned around. Kalabhavan Mani plays a mysterious character called Iruttu in the movie.

Currency is produced by Monica Gill. Music is by Sidharth Vipin while Vishwamangal Kitsu handles the camera. Currency is to be released on 8th May, 2009.
