Musafir is directed by the duo Pramod Pappan. Rahman acts as central character of the film. Mamta Mohandas and Bala also play pivotal roles in Musafir.

Musafir is a big budget movie which had extensive shooting schedules in the foreign locations of London, Dubai and Cyprus.
