Aagathan

Aagathan is a romantic suspense thriller directed by veteran director Kamal. The film has Dileep and Charmi in lead roles. Veteran Tamil actor Sathyaraj, who is making his debut in Malayalam films and yesteryear actress Zarina Wahab also play significant roles in the film.

Aagathan, which blends love and revenge will have Dileep in the role of an IT professional named Gautham Menon. Sathyaraj plays the character of a Retired Army General named Harindranath Varma who is the father of Charmi. Zarina Wahab plays his wife.

Dileep and Kamal had last worked together in Pachakkuthira, which was a disaster at the box office. Aagathan also marks the return of Charmi to Malayalam films who made her debut in Vinayan's forgettable Katuchemabakam before she became oomph girl of Telugu films.

Aagathan is produced by Mathew Joseph. Screenplay and dialogues are by Kalavoor Ravikumar and Kamal. Ouseppachan has rendered the music for the film and Kaithapram has penned the lyrics. Ajayan Vincent has cranked the camera for the film.

Aagathan, distributed by Via Media Entertainment, is scheduled for release on February 11, 2010.
