Angel John

Angel John is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by S. L. Puram Jayasurya of 'Speed Track' fame. The film features Superstar Mohanlal in a pivotal role. Tamil actor Santhanu, son of K.Bhagyaraj, plays an important role in the film. He is making his Malayalam film debut with Angel John. Nithya Menon of 'Akashagopuram' fame plays the heroine.

Angel John tells the story of Maradona (Santhanu), a B.Com student with all the naughtiness of youth. He is interested in doing business, but his father wants him to become a government employee. He gets into trouble with his friends and family. The seriousness of the troubles leads into attempting suicide. But Angel John (Mohanlal) saves him and feeds him positive vibes and attitude. Angel John takes him under his wings and helps him go ahead with his life, with confidence.

Angel John is produced by K.K.Narayanadas under the banner of Creative Team Productions. Story, Screenplay and dialogues are by Manaf. Ouseppachan has scored the music. Ajayan Vincent, after his brilliant work in Bhramaram, has cranked the camera for the film.

Angel John is distributed by Max Lab Release. The film is scheduled for release on October 22, 2009.
