Asuravithu

Director A.K. Sajan of Stop Violence fame is back with another action thriller titled as Asuravithu. Featuring Asif Ali in the titular role, Asuravithu has Samvrutha Sunil as the female lead.

Asif Ali's character in Asuravithu is an orphan named Don Bosco. He grew up in a seminary and wishes to become a priest. A person who doesn't talk much and keep things to himself, Don Bosco is very religious and pious. But certain things happen that changes his life for ever and brings him on the wrong side of the law. Samvritha Sunil plays Marty, a bold young woman who runs a boat service and also an expert in drawing sketches of suspects for the cops.

Asuravithu has a strong supporting cast comprising Siddique, Harisri Asokan, Vijayraghavan, Lena and Seema G.Nair.

Asuravithu is produced by Shaji Thanaparambil under the banner of Leela Creations. Music has been composed by Alphonse and Rajesh Mohan. Vishnu Narayan has handled the camera and Renjith Touchriver is the editor.

Asuravithu is expected to be released on January 6, 2011
