Currency

As the name suggests, this movie is all about money. Debutant Swathi Bhasker directs this movie having a novel story and grayish characters with a touch of humour.

Currency is about a youngster Keshu, who had quit his studies at an early stage and runs a photostat store for a living. He is the only son to his mother and he is an introvert without any real aim in life. He often borrows money from Danny D'souza Sayip - a cunning Anglo Indian. Another character in the movie is Rose, a North Indian girl and Keshu's love interest.

Keshu takes a photostat of a currency once and Danny realizes his potential to make meticulous fake currencies. Soon he becomes an assistant to Danny and his life takes a turn.

Jayasurya appears in the role of Keshu and Mukesh plays Danny. Meera Nandan, who made her debut with Mulla appears as Rose. Kalabhavan Mani plays a mysterious character called Iruttu.
