Ee Pattanathil Bhootham

After their superhit 'Thuruppu Ghulaan' in 2006, Megastar Mammootty and hit maker Johnny Antony has teamed up for 'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham' which tells the story of a friendly ghost. Children were the target audience for most of Johnny Antony's films and this time also it is no different. Extensive use of visual effects and computer graphics has gone into the making of the film. 'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham' is scripted by Siby K Thomas - Udhay Krishna duo who were part of most of Johnny's films.

Mammootty has a double role in the movie. He appears as Jimmy, an expert bike jumper in a cirus company and also as a 'bhootham' who is interested in friendship with children.

Jimmy who is an orphan works in a street circus group run by Krishnettan (Innocent), who reared him up. Jimmy becames the enemy of begging industry mafia after he saved some street children from them. Later the circus group joins the big Jumbo circus group, run by Philipose. Kavya Madhavan plays Ancy, a management graduate and the daughter of Philipose.

But trouble arrives as Jimmy is falsely accused of an offense and sent to jail. Then arrives 'bhootham' who befriends children and uses his super natural powers to fight injustice.

'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham' is produced by Benjamin under the banner of Hi Bright Movie Makers. Popular album musician, Shaan Rahman is the music director and Azhagappan has handled the camera.

'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham' is slated for release on July 9th, 2009.
