Pokkiri Raja is an action drama film directed by debutant Vysakh. The film has Megastar Mammootty and Prithviraj in lead roles. The sizzling Shriya Saran, who is making her debut in Mollywood, plays the heroine in the film.
Pokkiri Raja tells the story of two brothers who are the sons of an idealistic school teacher. Mammootty plays Raja, the elder brother and Prithviraj is Surya, the younger one. Raja runs away from home and becomes a big dada, while Surya stays at home and turns into a local goonda. Years later, the two meet in a big city without knowing that they are brothers!
Pokkiri Raja is produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam under the banner of Mulakuppadam Films. The film is written by the duo of Udaykrishna and Sibi K Thomas. Music is by Jassie Gift and lyrics are by Kaithapram. Cinematography is by Shaji.
