Ace cinematographer Ravi Varman who has handled the camera for films like Anniyan and Dasavatharam makes his directorial debut with Moscowin Kavery. Rahul Ravindran and Samantha play the lead pair in this romantic flick which also has Harshvardhan in an important role.
As the title suggests, the movie tells the relationship between two completely different people. The river Moscow, which flows through Russia, is calm and serene. But the turbulent Kavery is entirely contrasting and has even become the cause of conflict between Tamilnadu and Karnataka. Similar to the rivers, the hero and heroine of the movie also sharply contrast with each other.
New boy S.Thaman scores the music, while Ravi Varman himself is the cinematographer of Moscowin Kavery. The film is produced by Ramesh Babu, brother of Oscar Ravichandran and is to be distributed by Oscar Films.
