Paiyaa, Paiya, Paiyya

Paiyaa is an action entertainer written and directed by Lingusamy who has highly successful films like Aanandham, Run, Sandakozhi and Bheema to his credit. The film has Karthi and Tamannah as the lead pair and Bollywood actor Milind Soman in an important role.

Paiyaa is an action packed road trip entertainer with highways and travel as the backdrop. The film is about a couple (Karthi and Tamannah), who goes on a journey on a highway in a car. They meet a person on the journey and then film takes interesting twists and turns. Milind Soman plays the baddie in the film.

Paiyaa, a feel-good commercial film, is a welcome change for Karthi from his previous films Paruthiveeran and Aayirathil Oruvan. He will be seen as a macho hero in the film.

Paiyaa is produced by Linguswamy and his brother N. Subash Chandra Bose under the banner of Thirupathi Brothers. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music for the film and lyrics are by Na. Muthukumar. Madhie is the
cinematographer and editing is by Anthony.

Paiyaa is scheduled for release on April 2, 2010.
