Vazhakku Enn: 18/9

Balaji Sakthivel, who has directed some memorable films including Kaadhal and Kalloori, is now back with yet another offering titled as Vazhakku Enn: 18/9. A teenage drama-thriller film, Vazhakku Enn: 18/9 feature newcomers Mithun, Sri, Urmila and Manisha in lead roles.

Vazhakku Enn: 18/9 tells about the boy friend culture spreading among today's school girls and the dangers arising due to this. Set in Chennai, the film tells the story of two pair of lovers and shows the difference between boy friend/girl friend culture and true love.

Vazhakku Enn: 18/9 is produced by director N. Linguswamy and his brother N. Subash Chandrabose under the banner of Thirupathi Brothers. Noted guitarist R. Prasanna has composed the music for the film. Cinematography is by Vijay Milton and he has used a Canon EOS 7D digital camera for the recording.

Vazhakku Enn: 18/9 is expected to be released on May 4, 2012.
