Vettai Mannan

Vettai Mannan is a gangster action film written and directed by debutant Nelson. The film stars Silambarasan in the lead role while Jai plays an equally important role. Tollywood beauty Deeksha Seth is paired opposite Simbhu in the film.

Silambarasan plays an underworld hit man in the film that tells his rise from a local rowdy to an international gangster. Jai reportedly plays another gangster who is Simbhu's friend and gets killed by a rival gang. How Simbhu avenges the death of his friend forms the rest of the story.

Vettai Mannan is produced by S.S. Chakravarthy under the banner of Nic Arts. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music for the film and R. D. Rajasekhar is the cinematographer. Editing is by Anthony Gonsalves.

Vettai Mannan is expected to be released in 2012.
